The Microbiome Collection contains Microbiome Correcting Cleanser, Microbiome Boosting Serum, Microbiome Defense Daytime Moisturizer SPF 15, and Microbiome Restorative Evening Moisturizer. There is more to a ferment than a drink of moisture. Lactobacillus Ferment conditions the surface so dry-looking skin feels supple; filtered yeast ferment helps a cosmetic hold on to water. Streptococcus Thermophilus Ferment helps balance skin and strengthen its barrier by encouraging the skin’s natural Hyaluronic Acid, while Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract, a fermented-pomegranate probiotic, helps brighten, soothe and support the look of elasticity. Research on Streptococcus thermophilus also explores support for the skin’s own barrier lipids, and the pomegranate ferment has a place in cosmetic science’s enzyme-led surface refining. Sphingomonas Ferment Extract adds a texture story, valued for the silky texture it can lend a formula.
