What is LipSense® pH Glossy Tint, and how does it work?

LipSense® pH Glossy Tint is a high-shine, conditioning lip gloss that responds to the chemistry of bare lips, developing a customized sheer pink or coral shade in 7–8 minutes. Add layers for deeper color. Over LipSense® Color, it adds clear shine without the bare-lip color bloom.

How does pH lip tint work on bare lips?

The formula responds to the chemistry of bare lips. Give the tint 7–8 minutes to reach its full shade before deciding whether you want more intensity; adding layers deepens the color. The result is a sheer pink or coral tone with high shine.

Two colorants, Red 27 (CI 45410) and Red 27 Lake (CI 45410), make the tint visible. Explore the colorants and the bare-lip bloom.

What keeps the glossy formula feeling soft?

Phenyl Dimethicone conditions lips with a silky-smooth feel and helps reduce moisture loss. Caprylyl Glycol adds conditioning care, helping lips feel soft and moisturized.

Isononyl Isononanoate helps hold in moisture with a non-greasy feel. Diisostearyl Malate conditions the lips and contributes to the glossy finish.

Ethylhexylglycerin helps keep lips soft, smooth and hydrated and contributes to the formula’s smooth, lightweight application.

The hydrating blend wears with high shine and buildable intensity. It glides on with a cushiony, non-sticky feel.

For skin-conditioning care, the formula also includes PPG-20 Methyl Glucose Ether, a modified glucose ingredient that helps keep skin in good condition. Explore its ingredient role.

How do I choose between bare lips and LipSense Color underneath?

Wear pH Glossy Tint on clean, dry bare lips when you want to watch its sheer pink or coral shade develop. Wear it over LipSense® Color when you want clear gloss and extra dimension over the color you have already chosen. LipSense Color is optional for the tint’s bare-lip use.

For LipSense® Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color, the complete system includes LipSense® Moisturizing Gloss and Ooops!™ Lip Color Remover. Liquid Lip Color forms the breathable Permeable Polymer Matrix; compatible Moisturizing Gloss supplies conditioners that pass through the color film to hydrate and comfort the lips beneath. SeneGence’s suggested companions are LipSense® Moisturizing Gloss in Glossy, LipSense® Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color, and LipSense® Cream. Each keeps its own directions and finish. Explore LipSense® Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color.

What kind of color and wear should I expect?

Choose pH Glossy Tint for a personalized sheer tint and glossy comfort. More layers make the color deeper, and the tint can remain after the glossy finish wears away. Its color wear time varies by person.

Give the shade its 7–8 minutes to settle, then decide whether today calls for one sheer layer or a deeper, built-up flush.

The formula offers hydrating, nourishing comfort and buildable color with a smooth, high-shine finish, and it suits all skin types.

What color will pH Glossy Tint turn on me?

Cherry Bloom starts as translucent pink and blooms into a sheer pink hue. Enchanted Orchid begins as translucent lilac and develops into a soft violet-pink. Cherry Bloom and Enchanted Orchid are the shades in the limited-edition Bloom & Plush pH Glossy Tint Duo; each develops on your own bare lips. How does pH Glossy Tint carry the LipSense® story forward?

Some mornings you want the softly flushed look of your own lips, with shine. Others, you already have a LipSense color you love and want a glossy finish over it. Wear pH Glossy Tint either way, with the same formula.

SeneGence’s lip-color story began when Joni Rogers-Kante wanted a goodbye kiss that did not leave color on her son Alan’s cheek or send her back for another touch-up. That wish for beauty that fits a busy day still feels familiar. pH Glossy Tint adds its own choice to the LipSense family: a buildable bare-lip tint, or clear shine over your LipSense Color. Meet the company behind LipSense.

The 1999 flagship made lasting color the beginning, as Joni’s founder story tells; this tint adds its own pleasure in a shade that develops on your lips and lasts after the glossy finish wears away.

Which shade should I choose, and where do I get it?

Choose Cherry Bloom or Enchanted Orchid on SeneGence’s pH Glossy Tint page, swipe it onto clean, dry lips and give it 7–8 minutes to become your own sheer pink or violet-pink. Wear it bare for the bloom, or over your LipSense® Color for clear shine, with SeneGence’s full directions and current ingredient declaration a click away.

Each tube holds 0.14 fl oz / 4.14 mL; Cherry Bloom is SeneGence item 1914 and Enchanted Orchid is item 1915.

How long should I wait before adding more?

Allow 7–8 minutes for the tint to develop fully. Add more layers when you want a deeper color.

Why does it look clear over my LipSense?

The color-blooming effect is visible on bare lips. Over LipSense® Color, pH Glossy Tint adds clear gloss and extra dimension.

Does it have the same wear promise as LipSense® Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color?

pH Glossy Tint gives sheer, lasting color that can remain after the gloss wears away, with wear time varying by person. Choose LipSense® Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color and follow its system directions when you want that product’s long-wear color experience.

Do I need another color underneath?

Bare lips are all you need to see pH Glossy Tint’s color develop. LipSense Color underneath is an optional way to wear the tint as a clear gloss.
