Does SeneGence use parabens, sulfates, or PFAS?

All SeneGence products are formulated with NO parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde / formaldehyde-releasers, SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), drying waxes, carcinogens, animal by-products or PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances).

Why does SeneGence leave these ingredients out?

SeneGence formulates without SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), which it treats as a harsh surfactant that strips the skin's natural lipid barrier, and uses gentler cleansing agents instead; for LipSense® Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color, it favors its breathable Permeable Polymer Matrix over drying waxes. The list keeps evolving. SeneGence maintains a company-defined NO List and updates it with global research and regulatory developments. If an ingredient’s safety data is incomplete, disputed or heading toward restriction, SeneGence leaves it out even when it is still legal. The baseline is strict. What about fragrance, mica and animal testing?

When SeneGence uses fragrance, it meets IFRA safety standards and contains no phthalates, parabens or formaldehyde. Some products are fragrance-free. Sourcing is held to a standard as well. SeneGence buys mica only from suppliers with strict child-labor prohibitions and active responsible-sourcing programs, and requires proof of both before supplier approval. Animals are protected, too. SeneGence is cruelty-free and never tests on animals. All topical products are vegan-friendly, and everything is formulated without gluten-containing ingredients.
