What does SeneGence stand for?

What does Innovation mean at SeneGence?
Innovation began with LipSense® long-wear lip color and continued in the summer of 2000 at Mount Yasur in Vanuatu, where an orchid inspired SenePlex+®. In a 20-day independent clinical study of 33 women ages 19–65, measured by expert clinical grading compared with baseline, Evening Moisturizer – Normal to Dry with SenePlex+® and orchid stem cells accelerated skin cell renewal by 35.7%. SeneGence develops its products in its own Science & Innovation Lab at its headquarters in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, staffed by color chemists and research-and-development chemists. The lab also draws on ingredients from extreme places, from glacier soil to the deep sea. What does Clean Beauty mean for the formula you buy?
We formulate to the European Union cosmetic standard, which prohibits 1,700+ substances. The NO List goes further. SeneGence maintains a company-defined NO List and updates it with global research and regulatory developments. If an ingredient’s safety data is incomplete, disputed or heading toward restriction, SeneGence leaves it out even when it is still legal. Here is what that means for every formula. All SeneGence products are formulated with NO parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde / formaldehyde-releasers, SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), drying waxes, carcinogens, animal by-products or PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances).
