  1. When the jar is empty, lift out the old pod: grasp the edge firmly and twist while pulling, or ease it up from the edges with a small flat tool.
  2. If needed, clean the jar with mild soap and water, and let it dry thoroughly.
  3. Unwrap the new refill pod, leaving its protective seal on, and place it in the jar opening.
  4. Press it down gently until it fits snugly, remove the seal, and twist the lid back on clockwise.
